Give Opinions

Product tests give you the opportunity to try a product before it is launched or improved and share your feedback on the experience.

These tests may take place at home or in a research venue, depending on the product and study design.

Honest responses and careful use of the product help brands refine their offering and make meaningful improvements.

More Ways to Take Part

Online Communities

Contribute your opinions over time in an online community at your own pace. Take part in discussions and activities whenever it suits you.

Focus Groups

Share your views in a small, moderated group discussion where ideas are explored together. A more interactive way to give feedback.

Depth Interviews

Take part in a one-to-one conversation focused entirely on your experiences and opinions. A structured way to share insights.

Accompanied Shops

You’ll go shopping with a moderator who observes and asks about your choices. They might ask about products, layout, signage, staff, and your overall impressions.

In-Home Interviews

A moderator visits your home to see your behaviour in your own environment. They’ll show ID, call ahead, and answer questions so you feel at ease.

Workshops & Co-Creation Sessions

Longer sessions (3–6 hours) where you work with others to test ideas, solve problems, and give feedback. These are usually face-to-face, very hands-on, and benefit from energy and creativity.

Ethnographies

A moderator observes how you do things in real life, sometimes remotely. They often follow up with a short chat to understand both what you do and why.

Research Panels

Panels run for months, sometimes up to a year, and include surveys, focus groups, or product tests. They work best if the topics genuinely interest you, so both you and researchers get more out of it.

Pre-Tasks & Post-Tasks

Small activities before or after a main session, like surveys, diaries, or creative tasks. They help moderators understand your habits and usually come with their own incentive.

Surveys

Quick and simple, surveys gather opinions online, by phone, in-store, or on the street. They often offer vouchers, or prize draws and are a common first step into research.

User Experience (UX) Testing

You test websites or apps by trying features and navigation. This can be observed in person, moderated online, or recorded independently.

✅ Our research sessions are run by trained professionals.
For studies with children, researchers are DBS-checked and a responsible adult is always involved.
